Superman Saves the Day!- A globe shaped and painted vanilla/chocolate layer cake with butter cream, covered in fondant.

Blue From Blues Clues!- To create a 3-D version of Blue, a Rainbow Cake was layered with vanilla butter cream icing and carved into the shape of the favorite TV character. She was coated with fondant to give her that lovable blue color and spots.

Hamburger and Fries- Homer would be proud. Here is a Hamburger to serve about 30 people complete with a side of fries. The cake is chocolate and vanilla with marshmallow fondant and gumpaste decor. The tray of fries is cake and the fries- marzipan. Everything is edible!

Franklin the Turkey- Franklin the turkey was all vanilla and chocolate cake made especially for the Metropolitan Cooking and Entertaining Show 2008 in Washington DC. Here, Franklin is being executed.

Gorilla's Love Chocolate!- This is Romero the chocolate loving gorilla. He was made for the Fairfax Chocolate Lover's Festival in February 2009. Sadly, Romero wasn't strong enough to wow the judges with his chocolatey curled fur or chocolate pillaging. But that is ok, he knows how hard it can be to be a sculpted cake.

Garden Party, Tea Pot Cake- A vanilla cake layered with vanilla butter cream and fresh strawberries and covered with fondant and butter cream icing.

Quit Monkeying Around!- Do you have a little monkey at home??? Our daughter, Lily, names this cake the "cutey-pie-princessy-ballerina-monkey-cake." Call her what you like, she was a huge hit for a little girl's monkey themed birthday.

Speeding to the finish....- This cake stood about 2 and a half feet high and was made of chocolate and vanilla cake and rice krispie treats.

Amazing Movie Cakes- This cake is from a scene from a particular movie that we all love... you know the one. It won first place in teh semi-pro category at the National Capital Area Cake Show 2009!

Barbie Doll Cake- This barbie doll cake is a tasty moist vanilla cake with butter cream filling and coated with rolled fondant. The dress decorations are done in a vanilla butter cream icing.

Gulfstream GIII, ready for take off....- When the US Airforce needs a jet, do they call Boeing? Do they call Lockeed? Nope, they call Lily Lane Cakes.
This cake is a replica of the Gulfstream GIII that was requested by the crew of the jet for thier holiday party. It was a total of 14 inches long and served about 30 people.
