The Metropolitan Cooking and Entertaining Show- Kathy, cupcaker, at the entrance to the MCES 2008 at the Washington Convention Center.

Lily Lane Cakes @ MCES 2008- This is out fancy set up at the cooking show.

Meeting "The Sweet Life" @ MCES 2008- Kathy meeting Norman Davis, owner of The Sweet Life in Annandale, VA and of Food Network Cake Challenge Fame. He and his partner Zane Beg are awsome! We also had a great time talking with Regina Bankston of Camouflage Catering- one of SEVEN National Master Sugar artists!

The Girls! - Jenny and Vanessa dutifully manned the stand all day Sunday.

MCES 2008- First Shift!- Yvonne and Chris ran first shift and remained all of Saturday selling thier butts off!

Lily Lane Cupcakes at the ISES Show for The Knot- When The Knot needed something special for thier clients at the ISES (International Special Events Soceity) Convention in Bethesda Maryland, they called Lily Lane for our beautiful minis.

National Capital Area Cake Show 2009- We entered a cake in the Semi-Professional Category for sculpted cakes and won first place! The cakes at the show were VERY impressive, so this is a great honor for us!

The Amazing Norma Davis- I managed to grab Norman for a quick second to get a photo this time. I was able to chat with him a little at the Metro Cooking Show, but no chance for a photo there. At this show Norman competed in the Fairy Wishes and Dreams Live Cake Competition.
