National Capital Area Cake Show! March 20-21, 2010

Join Lily Lane Cakes (Kathy Paz-Mingledorff) at the Capital Area Cake Show this year on March 20-21 at Robinson High School in Fairfax Virginia. Its a huge event, one of the biggest cake shows in the country. I guarentee you if you come, you will not leave this place without some shock and awe in the way that people artistically manipulate cake and sugar arts.

Last year, I made my debut at the show with a show cake of a scene from the Disney Motion Picture- Wall-E. I was so pleased and honored to win first place in my category for sculpted cakes.

This year, as last year, my cake is a mystery. You have to show up to see what it is. I can tell you one thing. I have been working on it for a while now and it is going to blow your mind. BUT- you have to come to see it! I will also be entering the new "Cupcake" category, so that should be a lot of fun this year too.

So- we hope to see you at the show and I am pretty sure that you won't miss which cake is mine- but if your not sure look for "Kathy Paz-Mingledorff"!
